The heat exchanger : a wise choice

You already heat your home with a boiler?
If you use natural gas (mains gas), then don´t hesitate! A heat exchanger connected to a gas boiler is the ideal solution to increase your pool temperature quickly and at a reasonable price.

If you have a propane gas or heating oil boiler, this boiler is suitable for occasional pool heating purposes.

In the case of extended use (May to September), we recommend the use of a HEAT PUMP.

Operating principle:

In heat exchangers, 2 water circuits flow in opposite directions:

The primary circuit: this is the water coming from the boiler and used to heat your pool

The secondary circuit: this is the pool water to be re-heated

When and how to use a heat exchanger? :

Heat indoor or outdoor pools using the home boiler system. A heat exchanger is the ideal solution if you want the water temperature to increase extremely quickly: 24 to 48 hours to attain 28°C.

Example: a 10x5 (75 m3) outdoor pool with isotherm cover (blister or roller cover), is heated from 18°C to 28°C using a 40 kW boiler and heat exchanger: temperature increase time: 27 hours.
For this reason, the heat exchanger is perfectly suitable for occasional pool heating purposes (week end).
